Furthering thoughts for April 11th 2019

Jesus High Priestly Prayer is an eternally comforting chapter as Jesus prays for His disciples and for us.

I really needed to read this today. Sometimes the noise gets too heavy, the busyness becomes too overwhelming, and ultimately my patience is put to the test- “We may try to force an issue or express our impatience in some other way”. So true..this is what we are prone to do.

“Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me..”Jn11:10.

Being in His name, back in His Word, we dwell upon those words in the Lord’s Prayer, “Hallowed be thy name”, as these words put everything to rest knowing that “His ways are not our ways, and His ways are always right”. May this be our peace today, that in faith, through all things, the Lord keeps us in the true faith and delivers us from all evil, through the gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! A needed and most blessed comfort!
