Deuteronomy 6:6-9 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Prayer and Meditation
When you read through the Bible, use the simple "ACTS" formula to help you pray through what you read:
A - Adoration - Praise God for who He is and what He is doing or saying in the text.
C - Confession - Where the text exposes or calls to mind sins, give them to Jesus who forgives.
T - Thanksgiving - Praise God for his mercy and promises from the text.
S - Supplication - Ask that God would continue to form you to be what the text calls you to be.
