Blessings to you in Christ Jesus!
As we continue to face the challenges in our present circumstances, I pray that all is well with you. I pray that the Word sustains and grants you the perseverance in Christ to meet the days, weeks and months ahead. Due to the ongoing pandemic, The Council and Elders along with myself, have decided [for the time being] to have outdoor services on Sundays @ 9am in the FLC parking lot. The new service will start this Sunday, July 19!
Things to bring:
- Chair: if you do not have one, we will have them at church for you.
- Umbrella
- Sunscreen
- Bottle of Water for hydration
- Portable Fan
- Masks recommended
Other observations:
- No online signups needed
- Please use your discretion as we follow social distancing requirements
- There will be a designated space for those who desire to stay in their car during service
- Please be on time so that you will be able to secure and set up your spot
- Online Live Streaming (Facebook & YouTube) will be provided for those unable to attend.
- Communion will be offered 11am - 1pm for those attending from home.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”
Hebrews 10:24-25
With all the safety measures that are being taken, I pray that we, Faith Lutheran Church, will all come together and rejoice together in the receiving of the Lord’s Word and His gifts. Our spiritual welfare is of the utmost importance and I am excited to see how the Lord will bring us together to receive the proclaimed Word and Sacrament. So, I invite you all to come and receive the spiritual food that nourishes and comforts you through the words of Christ. After all, this is the one thing that is needful: Jesus, His Word, His Body and Blood given and shed for the forgiveness of your sins.
See you this Sunday @ 9am sharp!
Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Jeong
